"This Ramada Plaza is more a four, than a five-star, and appears dated. Service wrt parking at the front, front desk, and baggage was great. The buffet breakfast was quite extensive, and the outdoor pool area was lovely. However, while the room had a comfortable bed and good size, we were overwhelmed in both our rooms with the overpowering perfume smell that the hotel uses, so much so that we tried our best to aerate our rooms. "This beautiful old ottoman hotel is beautiful. The rooms are quite basic but very clean and comfortable. The aircon was brilliant (it was very hot while we were in Safranbolu) and we had a lovely view from our room. The buffet breakfast was a fairly typical Turkish breakfast with plentiful options and we were very satisfied with it. The location is fantastic with jus a short walk to all the action.
