"My room was very small, BUT it was all I needed. Traveling solo this time, out of the room most of the day, no need for extra amenities. Paid less than $100 per day, in San Diego, near all the major sites, excellent deal. Room was clean, staff was most helpful and polite. Very minor complaints ... room could've used a microwave oven, and the bathroom sink was very small (easy to splash water all over, and bump your head on the wall if you're just washing your face).
