"We were in town for a wedding and spent one night at the Hamilton house inn. Our room was, clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. Shawn cooked us French toast, sausage, and grits for breakfast. It was delicious. If we ever return to Monroe, we will stay again. 5 stars!"

"The property was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again."

"It was a fairly clean place to spend one night. There was a Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot I didn’t eat there but they were rather busy so I guess people enjoyed their food. My bed was comfortable I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer than one night as it did not feel safe there. But it served its purpose on my way back to Texas."

When reported to the front desk they stated they would let someone know and she mentioned that they were in the middle of switching out the TVs. I’m not sure why they would put me in a room where the TV was not working. The cleanliness of the room was poor. I kept feeling as though something was crawling on me. "Property is under renovation and there is a great deal of dust and noise. Parking lot is full of construction materials and equipment. Noise started early in the morning with no warning or concern from the staff. Room was missing minimal amenities including facial tissue, no body wash in the shower, No thermostat for the AC so you have to get up in the night to turn it on and off depending on temperature you want. "The front staff were helpful. Both rooms they put us in, had lights that did not work and one had blood on the wall in the bathroom."

"Was a drug/hooker neighborhood. Run down, not at all what the pictures online showed. Very rude staff. Room was trashy when first went into room. Paid for the night but didn't stay. Wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there. Should be shut down and not allowed to advertise online."
