"We had a 3 days visit in Villa Lara! It was perfect for us, the owner Dino was a super host and upgraded us to a better room with a terrace, had fresh new baked croissants every morning and also made us cappuchini. We also got a bucket with ice when we brought home some cava. The rooms had a very good standard and was cleaned every day! "This is a beautiful old villa set in acres of olive trees. One couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The hotel is brand new and is showing signs of some work to be done. The roads are pretty rough and could use some better maintenance. This is important expecially at night when driving in and out can be a bit sketchy. We stayed in the Trulla house which is a charming traditional house away a bit from the main property. Watch your head on the low stone doorways! Overall, in a year or so, once they work out the kinks this will be a wonderful property. The surrounding area is lovely as well and there are two one-star Michelin restaurants a few kilometers in either direction."

"Overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their excellent service was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk from the historic center of Paris, which may be something to consider if you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing. On the positive side, the hotel offers both a swimming pool and a gym on site, which are great amenities after a day of exploring the city. The hotel was generally very clean. However, we were disappointed to find a significant amount of mold in the shower of our room. While the rest of the room appeared well maintained, this issue should be addressed as it negatively affected our overall impression. One thing to keep in mind is that the laundry service is only available on weekdays and is not offered during weekends, which may be inconvenient for some travelers. Despite these concerns, we appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel’s amenities, and overall had a good stay."
