On the Expedia website it said our room had 2 king sized beds. That is the reason we chose this hotel. However, when we got to the hotel, we were told the hotel doesn’t even have rooms with 2 king sized beds.
Also, I didn’t realize there were still hotels that didn’t offer some sort of breakfast.

Additionally, Candlewood Suites brand does not offer breakfast at any of our hotels. Candlewood Suites is my go to when in Bismarck. The staff was very inviting and friendly. Looking forward to my next stay at Candlewood Bismarck.

Bath tub plug would not hold water. Toilet was loose and moved when getting up from it and refrigerator was extremely noisy and had to be shut off. Heat system also very noisy when running
The property was dirtier then I had hoped for and it was pet friendly which I did not know so there was lots of dogs walking around. Which I also think is what made the property look bad.
Room was extremely dirty like it had not been cleaned from the last stay. I booked for 4 night and only stayed 1 as it was dirty

The first room we were given had urine all over the toilet seat. Place is getting run down and in need of updates/repairs. On the other hand the staff that is there is trying as they are very short staffed.
The hotel was very good for my kids and I for a 2 day stay in Bismark. Having the kitchenette to cook was great. My only issue is that the carpets were not clean in the room. We kept stepping on random gravel pieces and our socks were black as soon as we removed our shoes.
The little things made a difference. There were instructions on the shower, reminders to take your key card, and liners in the waste basket. The flat wear and cups came in handy as well.

Idk it was disappointing I stayed here before and it was a good experience, but it recently went down hill found clothes in our closet it was nosy and smelled really bad.
The sidewalks were not shoveled, and as a 72 year old couple, I was very concerned about falling. I do not understand why they could not clean the sidewalks like other businesses do. No evidence of an ice melt application either.
Really Nice place, very comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. Pretty clean with the exception of the bathroom. Not real sure the floor or the toilet seat had been cleaned.
I travel with disinfectant wipes and just took care of it because it wasnt too terrible.
Made reservation 2 months in advance thru Hotels.com. Week before reservation was cancelled due to over booking. When arrived to check in they had a room available, but increased the nightly price by around $100 a night. Overall room was nice. Just a very stressful and expensive stay.
The night service was amazing. The woman working the front seat at 1am was so helpful. We really wanted to watch the bee movie and she helped us locate 2 different DVD players and a remote. 11/10 service
