I recommend

Very nice staff, friendly and forecommin. The room was very modern (boutique) and everything worked as it should. Nothing to complain about. Best of all was the friendly front desk staff.

fabulous location and service

Pauline at reception was extremely courteous and just fabulous. Unbelievable location on top of the dune. Super breakfast with a view. (Only minute points of critique: - industrial egg instead of normal eggs; - on the first day, we were told that early breakfast was a problem, but then it turned out that half an hour earlier was no problem at all.)

Nice Hotel with friendly staff. Only complaint is the outside areas that need tidying up. Loads of furniture stacked up everywhere so unusable and looks unsightly. Also the sun loungers by the pool are terrible and uncomfortable.

Biscarosse Plage is a lovely place to visit and the Grand Hotel offers a panoramic view of the beach and esplanade. We stayed in a terrace room that was well furnished, clean and was more than functional. The only downside was that for a premium room apart from the space on the terrace there was no provision for comfortable seating without using the bed to sit on. Also for an extended stay there was sufficient but not ample storage/hanging space. The restaurant was of a high standard and the staff were very polite, happy and well trained. If you plan to take an evening meal in the restaurant be aware that it is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. Overall this was a lovely hotel to stay in for a special treat.

Hôtel on the beach

The hotel is excellent as are the staff. The rooms are on the small side , but adequate and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was for me a 3 out of 5 and breakfast 4 out of 5.

A lovely honest hotel by the water. This place isn’t 5* but it is a lovely place to be. The breakfast was mostly home made and the staff were more than helpful. The views of the fantastic surf beach in front are stunning. I just wish I had more time to explore! Only negative was the very strange decor of the very small rooms. But given the view I could live with it.
