Hard Rock Hotel Malta

"We came in October for family trip. Initial impression this is a very nice hotel. Brand new, only been open 6 to 8 weeks. Staff very friendly, attentive, and always responsive to your needs. Nothing can be too much.special mention to Vikash, Sulaman, Zeek and all the staff. There are 2 main pools. The large one is not heated, but the small one, which is still a decent size, is heated very well. Loungers and towels not an issue. There are several restaurants on site. The top floor restaurant is Greek in rooftop. The ground restaurant is more cafe American. Because it's on top of a mall, there are several restaurants affiliated with the hotel, but you pay the restaurants directly, offering Chinese, Turkish, Asian, Italian, Indian, and Spanish. Breakfast is superb. Too much choice including made to order eggs, sushi and coffee bar. The location is at St George's Beach at St Julian's. Location is excellent. We went around Malta on lots of excursions. Concierge team is excellent for suggesting trips and booking everything, all very reasonably priced compared to outside providers. We went to Blue Lagoon,, Gozo, mdina, valletta to name a few. Bolt / Uber very cheap to navigate round the island so I wouldn’t bother with a car. Overall very happy with our silver suite and double room"

"Fantastic location. Walked from the hotel to Valletta. Hotel staff were amazing and helped us organise tours, taxis etc. Everything we needed. The evening reception they invited us to was lovely and it was great to meet the staff team in a relaxed environment. We’ll definitely be going back to the Marriott and Malta. So much more to see and do. 😎"

"Room was cleaned every day. View from the balcony was amazing just a tiny bit small to maneuver around it. Staff were lovely. Ideal location in shopping mall with lots of shops and places to eat. Right opposite Paceville. Will definitely go back!"

"Wow what a beautiful hotel . We celebrated our mini moon there and was looked after by all staff and even got a lovely surprise in the room once checked in . We went half board and food was amazing lots of choice even though Buffett style and different theme each night . Pool area was clean and relaxing ."

"The room was clean and comfortable and was serviced every day. The staff were courteous and friendly and helpful in all enquiries, resolving all issues to satisfaction. Breakfast was varied and very good though it is quite busy. The balcony was very welcome as it was still very warm in October. All is all, a very pleasant stay and will probably return again as teh amenities around the hotel are excellent"
The St George Park Hotel

"We stayed in October as a family of 2 adults and 1 one year old. We knew the hotel was right in the centre of a buzzing nightlife area and expected some noise, but we couldn't hear anything from outside the hotel! Up until about midnight, the sound of people returning from nights out was loud inside the hotel as the hallways are tile and not carpeted - again we expected this, and can't be helped with the hotels location - but do consider if you have kids. The room was spacious with a double bed and 2 singles. We needed a cot which arrived within 15 minutes of asking reception. The bathroom was functional but had a couple of small maintenance issues. The balcony was huge and had two sunbeds. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. Pool area was clean and had plenty of space. Located right on top of ample bars, cafes and souvenir shops. Bus stops for main attractions and direct buses to airport only a few minutes walk too. 10 minutes walk to St George's bay, if that. No frills stay, which we expected but we paid very little so would stay again if we needed somewhere cheap, clean and well connected! Excellent if you want lots of food/drink options around you."
