Over all, it is a good property. They are in the beginning stages of a remodel, so the pool was not usable. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the bar/restaurant very pleasant.

Red Roof Inn Birmingham South
This was a great value for the price. The recently upgraded room was clean and comfortable, although I am not a big fan of heavy air freshener. The shower was hot with good water pressure. I would stay here again

Days Inn by Wyndham Hoover Birmingham
Room was clean & functional. Front desk staff was friendly; check in was fast & easy. This property is dated a bit. Some upgrades have been done. Room had a slight musty smell that a squirt or two of air freshener could have helped. Breakfast was very basic; fresh waffles and cereal.
