The entire experience was horrible. The hotel was under construction, no mention of that when I booked the room. The entrance/valet area was an absolute nightmare. No parking lot to park, you can park on the street and risk having you car broken into by the homeless people. Or pay a fortune to valet. ...

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Birmingham Downtown
Had a handicapped assessable. There wasn’t a pull down bench in the shower. The A/C unit was very loud. Plunked each time it came on. Staff was great but had problems with the computer program during check in and again on check out. Do not get a room on the street side. Traffic is very loud.
