"Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus."

"Nice bar and restaurant area - near to Folkestone and exit to channel tunnel so all good - local garages, Tesco’s M&S garage shop McD’ all in close Proximity. Rooms are clean and basic but with just what you need. Great to have food available on site plus the free Breakfast is perfect to set you on your way. Staff are willing to help with any needs - that are possible. Only gripe would be having to pay for car parking. So ideal place to stay if need to be near Folkestone and the Channel...

Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). "This is a charming guesthouse in a very walkable location, near the Dover Castle, numerous pubs and restaurants. Alex the owner is super helpful and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked with many breakfast items and there were a few good cafes nearby for a nice latte or flat white. Upon our departure, Alex arranged a taxi to take us to the cruise port which was very helpful. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a lot of personality.
