"The check in staff was very helpful, including a few places to check out and safety tips. Food was amazing at the restaurant and breakfast included was an awesome and so helpful. This hotel is ideal if this your night before a cruise or riverboat cruise as the terminal for both are about a 7.00 euro trip away by cab. You are also about a 15-20 min walk away from the central station- without luggage . The central station has a pharmacy and tourist doctor office all in one. Will definitely recommend."

"Our room was perfect size, clean, bed very comfortable, cleaning staff good and helpful. Reception book in and out was quick and helpful. Information and taxi booking very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable and sufficient, although the hot food we would have preferred a bit hotter. Staff were friendly and efficient, seated quickly. Gluten free was catered for and lots of choices. One member of staff, Angela Hang, was very helpful with my gf and also very professional, efficient and lovely to talk too. The only problem that we encountered was at breakfast on the Thursday. We felt invisible, seated quickly no problem there, took a while to be asked for our drinks order, was busy so understood, took my gf order. We were not asked for our egg order and could not get their attention, had to as for more milk twice and gave up and went to get. The lad did apologise about the milk. When asked when we left if all was okay I did say and write a comment on what happened. Very apologetic and a note and fruit was sent to our room apologising plus free drinks at the bar. That was nice and it was the only because of 1 member of staff I couldn’t fault the rest. The hotel could not have been more apologetic. Our stay was here was very good and we would return."

"Have to say the main thing about it is the location which could not be bettered. I had a single attic room with a fabulous view of the city particularly in the evening with all the lights. The staff were exceptionally helpful and considering this whilst at the lower end of the budget for central Amsterdam hotels I could not fault it. While the room was only compact it had an excellent bathroom wardrobe facilities and was absolutely fine. I would not hesitate to come back again but in future would definitely try to stay mid week rather than weekend where the price is significantly less"
