No room on arrival due to hotel over booking

Advised the hotel, which isn't really a hotel but a group of rooms in a block of typical German apartments, that we would arrive after 6pm. Arrived at 8.30pm as no reception rang the number on the booking and I was advised by text message that no room was available due to over booking. Not good to be stood outside the building with suitcases to be told the room you paid for is no longer available. Poor service.

Wir wurden wegen Überbuchung zum Ravensberger Hof vermittelt. Freundlicher und unkomplzierter Empfang. Für unsere Räder gab es Platz in der Tiefgarage. Sauber und ruhig. Wir sind vollauf zufrieden.

Geld wird sofort abgezogen ,halbe stunde voher wird unterkunft abgesagt . Im hotel ist nicht mal personal da . Als wir dort angekommen sind das Objekt sah nicht mal nach hotel aus sondern nach eine Baracke für Obdachtlosen

Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr gut geklappt, Zimmer war sauber und gut. Umgebung ist nicht so toll und das Haus auch nicht. Direkt in der Innenstadt war super.

Sehr aufgeschlossen ist das Team vom Dreams und sehr Hilfsbereit. Sauber und Praktisch ist es dort. Immer wieder würde ich dort Buchen.

Gebuchtes und bezahltes Zimmer war nicht existent, ich sollte auf einem dunklen, kalten, nassen Hinterhof bei überquellenden Mülltonnen warten, bis ein stinkendes, zugemülltes, dreckiges Loch für mich hergerichtet werden sollte. GF beantwortete Anrufe nicht. Grausiger Ort war gar kein Hotel oder Hostel, nicht einmal eine billige Absteige, nur ein Dreckloch. Unterirdisch, wie aus einem Alptraum!!! Ich musste nach anstrengender Reise abends noch ein Hotel in Bielefeld suchen und bezahlen. Bitte melden Sie sich umgehend wegen Rücküberweisung der von Expedia/Klarna abgebuchten Kosten sowie der Erstattung der Kosten für das Hotel, in das ich ausweichen musste.

Gute Alternative - zum teureren Hotel

Also, der Check in , Info über Handy war ausreichend und gut ,es gab keine Probleme . Das Zimmer einfach ,aber sauber und alles vorhanden . Leider fehlten die Batterien der Fernbedienung vom Fernseher,es dauerte auf Grund einer Demo ca.1 Stunde bis ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter helfen konnte . Wenn man sich das völlig verdreckte Treppenhaus weg denkt eine gute Alternative zum teureren Hotel...

Nicht buchen!!!!!!

Das Haus ist von außen und innen Sanierungsbedürftig. Das Zimmer müsste dringend gestrichen, vor allem aber gründlich gereinigt werden. Es war nur oberflächlich sauber. Ekelfaktor: Flecken auf dem Bettlaken und versiffte Klobürste. In den 4 Tagen/ 3 Nächten wurde weder Zimmer, noch Bad, noch Mülleimer gereinigt. Es gab nur eine Steckdose im Raum und nur 1 Hauptlichtschalter. Während meines Aufenthaltes wurde ein verstaubter Sessel aus dem Flur in Zimmer geräumt. Der Schlüsselsafe ist über ein Zahlenrad zu öffnen, das nicht beleuchtet ist. Es war eine Herausforderung in der Dunkelheit die richtige Zahlenkombination zu finden. Die hinterlegte Kontakthandynummer war nutzlos, da darüber niemand erreichbar war.

Zimmer gut. Sauberkeit so la la. Service schlecht?

An sich modernes gutes Zimmer. Etwas dreckig aber das man durch das weiss sehr erkennt. Also vom Zimmer zu empfehlen :) ABER! Warum auch immer ist der Vermieter nicht erreichbar unter der mit der SMS gesendeten Nummer nachts und ruft auch nicht zurück.-> Ein Gästepaar wollte einchecken und normalerweise bekommt man eine SMS um kontaktlos mit PIN den Schlüssel abzuholen. Die konnten niemanden von "Dreams" erreichen. Habe auch versucht anzurufen niemand ging Ran. Ich mein ja kann Mal passieren was zu vertauschen oder zu vergessen aber nichtmal nen Rückruf ?

Zimmer o.K. Frisch renoviert. Der Badezimmerboden hätte sauberer sein können. Im Bad fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten und ein Handtuchhalter für die Duschhandtücher. Der Check-in-Bereich im Türrahmen und den anachronistischen Schlüsseltresoren wirkte nicht sehr einladend. Gleiches gilt für den Hinterhofeingang und die Tore aus Stahl und Holz. Hatte mit Dreams wenig zu tun.

Bezahlt aber kein Zimmer bekommen

Der Besitzer vom Hostel hat mich 2x schon jeweils 2 Stunden vor der Tür warten gelassen ohne mir den Code zuschicken. Und gestern stand ich 3 Stunden vorm Hotel und er hat mir KEIN Code zugeschickt, darf jetzt mit durch gemachter Nacht, zur Arbeit!! Asozial und unzuverlässig! Die Zimmer sind an sich schön großer Fernseher, aber bringt einem nichts, wenn man nicht ins Zimmer kommt. 2x hat es gut geklappt mit dem buchen und ging ohne Probleme. Aber die letzten 3 Male hätte ich mir die Anfahrt sparen können. Und das OBWOHL GEZAHLT war! Kein Code bekommen.

Odd access but very pleasant room

The hotel is very new, though more a self-service apartment. The key is accessible in a key-safe. In the dark it was not so easy to find out how to open it. The explanation should mention that you have to pull down a black plastic lid, before the number field is accessible. The entrance to the hotel through a heavy metal door was difficult with all the luggage. The room was new and nicely designed, which compensated the art access
