"We stayed 3 nights in a bleak February. The weather was bad, but the room was warm and cosy. The dining hall was shut, but a continental breakfast was laid out on the landing and a small table and chairs provided in the room. Cooked breakfast was available for a small extra fee, but we didn't feel we needed one. "Very comfortable, clean and quiet room, with good location for Headington shops and restaurants, and very close to the East Oxford hospitals which can be difficult to get to with heavy traffic if you have an early appointment. We walked to the Jasmine and Olive restaurant excellent food about ten minutes walk away. "

"Had all the essentials, good location and good shower. The bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable and there was a constant whirring sound in the room a bit like a faint extractor fan. It just wouldn't stop and, as a light sleeper, made it difficult to get to sleep. Our room was also next to reception and early in the morning we could hear all the conversations going on at the reception desk and in the breakfast area.
