6/10 Okay

"I was in the Old Lodgings 5 miss walk down the road. Very thin walls, loud party on 1st night kept me up to early hours. Generally could hear everyone moving around. WiFi was off over 12 hours 1 day. Cleaner didn't empty bin 1 day. Pretty good Value for money though & good overall location"

"Great location near old town and rail station! Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and functional room. Only negative was that the room was very warm and the temperature control didn’t seem to be working. I wasn’t there during the day so I just opened the window to let in Cool air for the night."

"Fantastic hotel. Excellent and friendly staff from check-in to the ladies on breakfast duty were a real asset to the hotel. Breakfast was a real pleasure with excellent choices and cooked to perfection. Great location. Parking adjacent to the hotel which was included. Room was spacious with some nice touches. Would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed here on a number of occasions. Always find the mattress too hard and the pillows too soft and the road noise a little distracting. Amenities are good, overall general aesthetics are good and clean but notice some areas need more focus on cleaning and maintenance throughout the property. Food, drink and staff assistance are excellent."

"Lovely relaxing atmosphere. It was sparkling and spacious. Medium rating for staff as we had no interaction. We received a text telling us the code for the front door and our room door. No hassle very simple and efficient. Our shower was not great. Very low water pressure. But I would definitely recommend this hotel."
