"This was a nice hotel to stay in. Rooms & lobby were clean. Free breakfast was decent, but not great. Pool does have a slide & hot tub. The Hotel should invest in better mattresses & pillows though. Our king bed felt kinf of lumpy & uneven."

"We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rapid City for one week. Overall, the property was nice, and we appreciated the warm cookies offered in the evening as well as the lemon ice water available in the lobby. Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, stepped on something while barefoot in our room and cut his foot. We couldn’t find what caused the injury at the time, but after returning home, an ER doctor removed a small piece of glass from his foot. This suggests the room may not have been vacuumed thoroughly. I also requested fresh towels daily, but that never happened. I eventually had to flag down housekeeping and exchange the towels myself. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but became repetitive after a week and offered few healthy choices. While there were aspects of our stay we enjoyed, better housekeeping and room cleaning would have improved the experience considerably."

"Upon arriving, there wasn't anyone at the desk, waited 5 minutes until a guest came down with their trash and said you had to call to get service. When the person arrived she talked with them, not me. She finally started my check in, then said she was training, left and returned with another person. By this time there is another person waiting, so she took care of her instead, I got the trainee ( not a bad thing as they needed to learn). I booked a handicap accessible room, ended up on the 3rd floor. There was only a small chair to sit in which was not good for someone with mobility issues. In the bathroom the tub was not accessible, you had to step over the side. There wasn't a shower chair, and when I asked about it, I was told that it was a housekeeping problem and they were no longer there, so I should just look around the room to see if I missed it. The morning person was very friendly and made the check out process easy."
