"Stayed here as an unplanned stop mostly because of price and availability, so my expectations weren’t high. However I was pleasantly impressed by the whole place. The room faces an uninterrupted view of fields, was clean and warm. It had a properly sized bath and everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good as was the Wi-Fi. I had to stay in the bar and wait for my vehicle to be recovered which was also comfortable and calming."

"Staff were lovely, cottage was lovely. Restaurants and bars all top notch. What was not made clear when booking the rooms was 2 significant issues. Firstly although says bed and breakfast, the breakfast was £25 voucher to cook your own. That was not made clear on hotels.com App. Second issue that was not at all clear, is that despite strong advertising re spa, if you are in a cottage it's £65 per person per day to use the spa facilities. This is a lot. And the biggest gripe is that not even buying the v expensive spa treatments (£300) gave us any access to the spa facilities"
