"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"Staying at Bergwelt Grindelwald was an experience! It was a beautiful hotel with amazing hospitality. We booked a corner room and fell in love with the view that came with the room as well as how big and spacious our room was! The hotels location is also super convenient when it comes to wanting to stay in Grindelwald! The train station was down the road, grocery stores around the corner, amazing restaurants nearby, and easy access to Grindelwald First!! Shout out to the people working in room...

"The hotel is old and outdated. For example there was one electrical outlet in the room. It was difficult to charge phones and watches."

"Breakfast was good. Hotel was in good shape for the age with a renovated bathroom. Could have used a spare pillow in the room. One extra large pillow is in the room but it’s super super soft so it you need more support you’ll need another."

"We had a wonderful stay at Boutique Hotel Alpina. The staff are amazing, welcoming & friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Brienz. There’s a sitting area outside where you can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. Got a free parking in the property. Thank you so much Hotel Alpina!"

"Room is clean and fragrant. However, there’s a lot of noises at past midnight that can be heard. A lot of construction going on during daytime. Breakfast is nice but can improve by changing set of menu each day. Staff are amazing and helpful."
