"Beautiful and updated property. It’s nice to have the modern juxtaposition with the authentic Swiss surroundings. The staff was so kind and offered amazing local suggestions. They treated everyone like they were the only guests there. We did everything Svenja mentioned and had the best time. Fun story how the brothers run this spot and their parents run the hotel next door. Will be back!"

"The hotel was beautiful with a great view of the lake from our room. Diner was very good and the front desk was helpful in giving us ideas for activities. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me but my husband didn’t mind. It was also a little stuffy in the room so we opened the windows to get some lovely cool fresh air in the morning and evening. "

"Beautiful hotel on a charming historic town square with updated rooms, and we enjoyed our very large and comfortable family room and large bathroom. Easily walkable throughout Thun to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Nice lounges with coffee, tea and fruit on each floor, and the communal mini fridge was the only negative as would have been a nice in-room amenity."

Shuttle to/from train station on day of arrival/departure was convenient. Spiez is a wonderful little town. This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we WILL definitely stay here again! "
