Great location and athmosphere

Great hotel with superb athmosphere and design. All nice and clean in the room. The staff very friendly and professional, especially in the reception. In the bar there is still some progress to do before a top top class.

Amazing hotel! From the lady on reception checking us in to the guys behind the bar serving us cocktails the service was exceptional! Obviously helps if you are nice too. The receptionist arranged our room immediately even tho we arrived before midday. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

What a stellar hotel. Classy, stylish, hip and happening. Must say, the staff is exceptionally friendly. In the restaurant, bar, reception, everyone was remarkably accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. Pricey? yes! Worth it? Yes.

This is a very handsome old building with the hotel renovated to a very high standard. Sadly the staff seem to have very little experience in hospitality. House keeping is forgetful with some sort of omission on a daily basis. I would recomend this hotel for the location, but the service leaves a lot to be desired

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Telegraphement, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few notable exceptions. Pros: • Exceptional Service: Upon my early morning arrival, I intended only to drop off my luggage. However, the front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, striving to secure an early check-in. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were impressive, with both the coffee and food meeting high standards. • Comfortable Room: Facing inside the courtyard(?), my room provided a tranquil and cozy retreat, ensuring restful nights. • Prime Location: Situated adjacent to Museum Island, the hotel offers immediate access to cultural landmarks. Additionally, numerous restaurants and the charming Neun Drei cafe are just a short stroll away. Cons: • Inconsistent Dining Options: I was disappointed to find the Root Restaurant closed due to a private event on my first day and not operating at all on the second. This limited my dining choices within the hotel. However, drinking and dining at The Root Bar was a great experience. Gustav was a very accommodating. • Bathroom Design Flaw: The shower in my bathroom had drainage issues, leading to water leakage, exacerbated by the poor floor design, suggesting it might be a known issue that hasn’t been addressed. Absolutely despised their “natural” shampoo and conditioner. Made my hair all sticky and oily. Overall I loved staying at the hotel and will gladly return and recommend.
