Great location, very clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, perfect for walking to many places (Hacsher market, Museum Island - 15-20 mins walk), tram and underground virtually right outside, wide choice of restaurants and bars within 2-10 minutes walk. The room was small but adequte, heating was good. The bed was very comfortable. We were right above the little courtyard where people sit to smoke, so sometimes at night we could smell the cigarette smoke in our room, coming in through the slightly open window (needed because the heating is on all the time). The breakfast was perfect - lots of healthy choices.

Top Lage. Vom Parkhaus in ein paar Gehminuten zu erreichen. Ebenso zum Friedrichstadt-Palast zu Fuß innerhalb kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Zimmer sauber. Hotel sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück super, mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Super! Check in hat leider nicht zu 14 Uhr geklappt. Das Zimmer war noch nicht fertig.

Da evitare

Camera piccolissima, per non parlare del bagno simile a quello degli aerei. Siamo arrivati dopo la mezzanotte ed il receptionista, oltre a darci delle indicazioni errate sull’indirizzo del parcheggio(20 min a piedi) ci ha intrattenuto per piu’ di mezz’ora con informazioni irrilevanti. Unica nota positiva la colazione a buffet molto varia.

Plus: Sehr gute Lage mitten im Herzen von Berlin. Haltestellen für U- u. S-Bahn, sowie jede Menge Gastronomie in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gemütliche und sehr saubere Zimmer (leider etwas hellhörig). Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, von Müsli bis Omelette alles dabei. Kleines Minus: in einigen Zimmern der ersten Etage ist manchmal lautere Musik aus dem darunter liegenden Restaurant zu vernehmen. Nach Beschwerde bei der Rezeption wurde diese aber umgehend abgestellt.

My favourite street in Berlin

The surroundings of the hotel are great. The hotel is also very nice. Clean and with all kind of expected services in the room (hairdryer, shower cap...). The staff was also very nice and they have lactose free milk, which I find very positive. The only negative thing I would remark is that the lights in the room are a bit dark. Even with all of them on I couldn't read properly the documents I needed to prepare.

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. I stayed in a twin room which was small but perfectly suited to my needs and very clean and comfortable. The location is also great. It is between two subway stops (Orienburger Tor and Orienberger Str.) but also within walking distance of major sites if you'd prefer to walk everywhere. There are also lots of restaurants around and the Neue Synagogue with its gorgeous gold dome is just up the street.

Die Lage des Hotels ist top, Straßenbahn und S-Bahn sozusagen vor der Tür, U-Bahn keine 5 Minuten. Das Hotel ist ruhig obwohl ringsum Kneipen, Restaurants und Bars zu finden sind. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer, das von der Größe vollkommen ausreichend war, allerdings ist der Kleiderschrank etwas klein. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hotel 38

Hótelið var allt í lægi en mæli með að panta frekar standard dobble room heldur en bara standard room. Vorum i standard en fólkið með okkur í standard dobble og það var mjög mikill gæðamunur fyrir ekki svo mikinn pening. Morgunmaturinn var voða heimilislegur þar sem það er bara eitt langborð og nokkrir sófar til að borða við. En maturinn kom skemmtilega á óvart m.v. aðstöðuna. Staðsetningin er mjög góð og mikið að góðum veitingastöðum í sömu götu, mæli sérstaklega með þeim indverska. Alexanderplatz var einungis í 10-15 mín beinni göngufjarlægð en hægt að taka lest a 2-3 mínútum nánast beint fyrir itan hótelið.

Stressiges Hotel mit schlechtem Kundenservice

Bei Ankunft keine Moeglichkeit Auto abzustellen. Empfang: Sie koennen ja ins naechste Parkhaus fahren. (Entfernung einfach: 1,5 km) Auf die Frage, ob es denn nicht evtl einen Anliegerparkschein gaebe, nur patzige Antwort in gebrochenem Deutsch. Sehr unfreundlich. Allgemein Personal sehr unfreundlich.
