Our first day,we noticed the air conditioning was not working but decided to give it sometime to cool, 4 hours later I proceeded to call the night reception.The guy I spoke to told me off for not calling earlier and went on to ask me what “we” should do, he was rude and I asked to speak to his manager as I could not continue speaking to him, he then apologised and said he would call me back in 10mins. He did call back and send a mobile air conditioning unit to our room.
The next morning, we woke up to water on the floor and the carpet from the mobile unit.
I called the reception and informed them and asked to be moved to a different room. At that point the lady at the reception said all the air conditioning had just been serviced and were all working fine. I told her ours was not working and it was causing us distress and we had a 4year old with us. She said she had 20people to check out that morning, basically she was rude and hung up on me.I then called her back and asked if she hung up and she denied it. Eventually we were moved to a new room later that day on the 5th floor. When you come out of the lift to that floor, a stench hits your nose. We had to crawl into bed each night as the sides of the bed had been used up for storage.
The staff were clueless on activities tourists could do in the area, it always felt like they were being bothered.This place caused us great distress, I would NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone.
