"Bergen is the most beautiful city we have seen in our travels. The shops and restaurants go in many fascinating directions to explore. The food is excellent, especially at Egon's next door to the hotel. Hakon's Hall is majestic and feels like it's taking you back in time 750 years. The rail car to the mountain top has great views and beautiful forest hikes. We saw the Troll museum in Tromso, and the one in Bergen is also very fun to explore. "Possibly the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. The space breakfast hall is the former stock exchange of Norway and is quite a lovely spot. Room was clean, with all we needed, and the hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of all the big sights of Bergen. Would wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"Loved this hotel. Although it was always busy, we were always seated for breakfast promptly. Breakfast choice was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable - excellent bed!
