It should be made clear that the unit is a third-floor walk up, requiring navigation up a steep and narrow staircase. The unit itself is clean, bright and spacious. There are plenty of pots and pans, but a shortage of silverware. Bathroom is small, but functional. Great shower. Nicely decorated.

The apartment was just like stated on the website. Great location easy to get around. Clean, comfortable, close to grocery store & train station. Would stay again.

A great gem in Bergen

Great place, stayed with family and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice neighborhood - quiet but very close to town. Kitchen very usable and lots of living space. Bathroom and laundry facilities worked great.

Walkable, fully equipped, but little stairs to the third floor and no blackouts much needed on this time of the year! Very communicative owners.

The apartment is located at a slope while the outside of the road is not really clean and some rubbish were spread over on the road that perhaps the risbiish bin was full Meanwhile, it should be specified clearly that there’re no lift available so to let the customer consider whether we should book the apartment at top floor (3rd floor). It was challenging to bring four big luggage up the stairs!! I have never had experience when I booked at hotel.com that there are rules from the hotel that the customer has to take out all bed sheets, pillow covers, etc, to put on the floor. I wonder if this is a kind of local practice in Norway, compared to when I stayed at an apartment through Hotels.com, which was reserved in Iceland. Anyhow, I like the location of the apartment, which is very safe and convenient to all the common attractions, which is very good.

Not worth the money

It started out fine, but our experience quickly deteriorated as we settled in. We noticed stains on one of the pillow cases, and Kristin was quick and responsive in the beginning. We were told a new one would be provided to us the next morning, but it never did, and when we tried to follow up, we never heard back again. Furthermore, there was loud screaming and/or partying PAST MIDNIGHT EVERY NIGHT (we were there for 3 nights), and it was very difficult to fall asleep under these conditions. We understand some of this might be out of their control, but we didn’t even get a response when we shared this with Kristin. The icing on the cake is the rules, THERE ARE SO MANY RULES. The one that surprised us the most was that we had to put the bedsheets on ourselves at check-in AND take them off at check-out. We always keep the place we stay at clean anyway, but being asked as guests to do bedsheets was definitely not something we ever experienced before.

We really couldn’t have asked for much more from this apartment. Everything was clean, relatively new, and very comfortable. We were four larger adults traveling without kids, and the bedrooms and overall space worked perfectly for us. There was also plenty of storage for all of our luggage. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to actually cook meals, which we did during our stay. Check-in and check-out were both extremely simple. The location was another big plus. There were plenty of things to see nearby along with lots of food options, and it was easy to explore Bergen from the apartment. The only thing I would point out is the staircase to the second-floor room. The stairs are quite steep, narrow and curved, so they could be difficult for older travelers or anyone with mobility issues, especially with luggage. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's something worth knowing before booking. Otherwise, we really don't have anything negative to say. We would absolutely stay here again.

This apartment was so lovely - spacious, clean, bright, and has everything you could need. We felt safe, welcome, and comfortable. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, the neighborhood was quiet, and the hosts communicated thoroughly. We will happily return, and highly recommend! Tusen takk for et fantastisk besøk!
