"Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. "My family and I loved our stay at Lyngmo Hytter. The cabin we stayed in was cozy, and had a great view of the surrounding lake. The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in and check-out, making the process stress-free. The shared washroom facility was clean and well stocked with supplies. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection, with excellent quality local food staples. I would definitely come back and stay for longer to thoroughly explore the surrounding area."

"We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute. The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....

"Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!"
