Bentota Hotels with Indoor Pool

"excellent staff who could not do enough to make sure your stay was as you would want it.Pool was wonderfully warm and gardens were exquisite and very colourful. Trains were noisy but interesting and after a while you did not notice them."

"Very interesting architecture and tasteful interior design. Staff were super accommodating. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday on Sri Lanka’s coast."

"We had a lovely stay at the Riverside Inn Fuji. The room was huge and immaculately clean with great air-conditioning. The grounds were also well maintained in a picturesque setting by the river. The pool was a nice bonus."

"Great location, great rooms, friendly staff."

"The staff were wonderful and much more helpful and friendly than the management. The room was wonderful and the food was good. It is further from the beach than other reviewers indicate but they have a very inexpensive tuk tuk service available. The pool is small but fits the bill when it is hot out and you don't want to go to the beach."

"Friendly staff, great location on beach, big rooms, quiet, lovely po"

"Thaala Bentota is an excellent place to relax during a vacation. Awesome location and amazing food. The rooms and fittings inside the room are a bit worn out and may need replacement to enhance the visitors' experience."

"Henry the owner is the perfect host. Staff were very caring and helpful! Pool is great! Food was one of the highlights. Fantastic wildlife in the garden with parrot, fish, fire flies, chip monks and lizards. Mosquito free veranda. Tuc, tuc and van available anytime. Wonderful beach only 2 min tuk tuk ride away. Best relaxing holiday we have had in 2 months of traveling."

"Great breakfast. Great food altogether. They were a bit odd about when we could access the beach. It was closed from 12 to 3. Which was weird but other than that a great place."

"Friendly staff, great location and fun activities."

"The architecture and gardens are a stand out feature of this hotel located on a quiet section of Bentota Beach ( separated by a railway line which you cross on foot!). Staff are efficient and courteous "

"Lovely hosts, excellent wifi.. i loved the pool and the garden.. it was little paradise :)"

"warm hospitality of owner is nice. owner is kind and honest. his care put our at relax:)"

"The staff was so nice. The room was large, 4 post bed, mini frig, beach and bath towels in room. It was very clean. Balcony was nice with sturdy chairs and table. View was nice over pool. Free beach chairs. Can by drinks/food- everyone there also nice. Good place to rest, be at beach, breakfast good, restaurant/bar in hotels right there. Thank you for a good stay!"

"Wonderful and comfortable but the F&B prices based on the service level and hotel are fairly high compared to other luxury properties in the area. "

"Shabby room in desperate need of updating. The air conditioning rattles louder than the local train line behind the hotel making it difficult sleep and there is no ceiling fan to keep cool as an alternative. The furniture is stained, possibly with mildew. The bathroom has limescale, mould and a blocked sink. The bathroom towels were frayed and grey. The light switches had been weirdly painted over. Uncomfortable bed and bedding. The water is not drinkable, yet they only give you 2 small bottles...

"Really enjoyed my week here. Staff are very friendly and attentive, massages superb, food delicious and the location right at the beach is nothing short or perfect."

"Hotel backs on to a beach that is amazing, by far the cheapest hotel on the main strip, freindly attentive staff, very clean and situated in the centre of the main strip. Booked one night. Stayed for 4"

"Nice room, working AC, close to the beach, small supermarket (with prices, probably you can pay by card) and railway station. Nice and helpful owners"

"You will be treated like family at Osanda"
