"This is an older hotel that has been nicely updated. It was clean and bed was firm but comfortable. A hot breakfast was newly started and the eggs were better tasting than alot of other smaller hotel buffet types . Staff was very helpful and willing to help with any needs. We would stay here again."

"No chocolate for s'mores..otherwise just fine. Only suggestion would be a night light in the bathroom or a dimmer switch."

"This is such a unique property, full of creative landscaping and highlighted with intriguing works of art! The rooms are nicely appointed and furnished to include reclaimed and repurposed pieces that give off a warm and friendly atmosphere! We have returned 4 times, and will always choose this delightful spot when traveling through Bennington!"

"We have been coming here for almost twenty years. The property could use a little tlc, but it also has a lot of charm. Pablo at the front desk was the best attendant we have ever had. He really made the experience better. Our AC was not working but within minutes an engineer came up and was able to fix it no problem. Room was very clean with lots of towels. Only downside was that the hot tub was broken for most of our stay. We LOVE the hot tub so that was a major bummer for us. But we will be back. I thought it was a great value."
