"Room was very clean and comfortable! After a long day driving and little sleep the night before the hot tub experience was a welcome delight which they let me use even though it was late at night! Need to use defoamer for hot tub, for I thought I was in an out of control bubble bath LOL. A problem when using swim suits in a hot tub! they hold a lot of soap which turns into volumes of bubbles! Can't be like Europe and be naked! The only negative was a below subpar breakfast which was very sad! Again being spoiled from traveling Europe. Would stay there again due to exceptional pricing!"

"It was a great place to stay for the one night on our way to the Comedy Museum. The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. "The hotel is beautifully maintained, both inside and out. Soft music plays as you enter the hotel and numerous colorful mums decorated the grounds. Starbucks coffee is available on the floor in the morning. We enjoyed sitting around a gas fire pit as well as the pool and hot tub. Lake views are gorgeous. Staff are all friendly and helpful. A special shout out to the concierge, Toni."

"The property is a wonderful vibe if you are looking for an older, unique resort that looks like it belongs in a different time period. There are no elevators and the carpets could be updated but that would definitely affect the older feel. Staff is always welcoming as were the fireplaces going as well. The restaurant can be overwhelmingly loud, but you can go to the adjacent room. Outdoor fire pits are a wonderful after hours setting. Morning breakfast is available either in the restaurant or the small cafe next door. Definitely an annual vacation for our family."
