"Im sure its normally fine but the elevator malfunctioned and suddenly dropped 6 floors, trapping me inside, and it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. After Ringling the alarm for ages, pressing yhe call number, --- hitting stop-- nobody answered the call button and nobody came. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, comfortable bed, water pressure in shower was good, it was a bit on the hot side in NYC during my stay and the air conditioning in the room worked well, it was a great location right off Times Square and the rooftop bar was very good. I would stay here again for future trips."

"Toilet made noise all night till the water tank was full which it took for ever, till we poor water from the sink. Iron was stain in black and lots of water that wet my shirt and stained it. Other than that everything was great!"

"Excellent staff, the location is superb and the rooftop bar was very nice. The room was somewhat clean- bedding and bathroom, but the wall had something smeared on it- food I hope.. also our TV did not work as it said the “internet connection was weak” so maybe a loose connection? Overall it was good for the location but we will try a different one next time for the $250/night price point. "

"The Tempo hotel is very modern and up to date, kept very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The king corner room with Times Square view, was spacious for an NYC hotel, bed very comfortable and bathroom was luxuriously appointed. We were in room 2202, above the heart of Times Square. It is obviously filled with light from the billboards, and noisy from the crowd and street performers below. That is what you sign up for when you choose to stay that close to the Square."

"Perfect if you are spending the day out ad the rooms are functionaly just for speeoing and showering. Clean, great staff and great location. Amenities are basci: a tissue box would be a welcomed addition!"

"Minimalistic and tidy place. Andy, Kevin and Wilber at the reception desk were helpful and friendly. Small room, with less space, but nicely decorated and practical. Hotel is located close to Times Square. No breakfast included. Enjoy!"

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it.
