"The hotel was in immaculate condition. The entry, service desk and rooms were well presented."

I don’t think the heater was working properly - we had it at the highest temperature but it did little to warm the small room, even after being on for hours, and we were very cold. The TV wasn’t watchable as the image was constantly flickering. Seemed an issue with the screen rather than reception - it was still the same problem when we mirrored off our own device. Decent enough place to stay with the dog for one night but bring your own viewing device and...

"Service from the staff was amazing, really went out of their way to be helpful. Brekkie was brilliant, great options, well done, some hotels just get it right, and this is one of them. Parking was easy, room was just lovely."

"Very spacious room, with king size bed. Well set up kitchenette. Liked that it had a large spa bath, but hard to get in and out of, and very slippery when wet. Surprisingly, no shampoo or conditioner was provided. Bathroom quite dated, and could do with a refresh. Overall, it was suitable for our needs and close to where we needed to go for the weekend. Would stay here again."

It was made even more pleasant by receiving an unexpected upgrade to which we were very grateful and appreciated. "This place advertises itself as a "luxury" accommodation but it was far from that. Check in was a disaster, and it only got worse. I was supposed to receive a message about what we had to do at reception but that did not happen. We where left at the front of a building that was supposed to be recption but no one was there. We rang the phone number and after out third call someoner answered, There was a couple who arrived at the same time as us but they had received a message about how to get...

"The bathroom door did not close, the electric blanket was burnt out at the switch, the heating on 30 only took the chill off the room. The freezer completely frozen. One light in the bathroom was not working and the other making a shorting out sound. When I went to talk about this the office was closed at 10.00am on a Monday. Very disappointed. We have stayed here before and it was fantastic. Obviously new owners."

"Nice and gorgeous hotel . Need someone to buy it and renovate it . Freezing cold in hallway and shared bathroom . Rooms have oil heaters bit better but still very cold . Ok for summer but not for winter. No one was at reception but lady kindly left a key for us . Room was clean and beds was comfortable . Bathroom was awfull. Like in cheap student hostel ."
