I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. "The hotel is quite tired and in need of some maintenance. Sound proofing from outside noise is good, not so good for between rooms. Having said that the linen and towels were clean and fresh water bottles were provided each day. I would stay there again for the great location and excellent nearby restaurants."

"The hotel staff was very nice. Every staff and especially 汤志龙 was very helpful and nice! He helped me find an airplane model shop in Beijing and it made my kid's day! Without his help, my kids will be very sad... he even called to get the address, directions and everything for us! The rooms were clean! Always new and fresh towels every single day. Beds were always made and clean. I cannot wait to come back to this hotel when I visit Beijing!!!! Thank you so much for everything you and your team...
