Junk place

We booked 4 star hotel and came to 2 star hotel. ac did not work, room was not clean. It was very very dirty and impossible to breath. No one offered to clean the room, no one offered a different room. We checked out and went to Legendale 5 star hotel 5 min away. Same area and there we got 5 star all the way. Hotel did refund the remaining nights to us - that was good lol

4 Nights in Beijing

Overall a good stay, location is good (15 minute walk to Wangfujing street and same to nearest metro station). Our only issue was the first night, our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though we were on a no smoking floor. We spoke to reception about this the next morning and to their credit when we got back from our days tour the room was much fresher. A couple of times after this when we exited the lift on to floor 10 again the smell of cigarettes was very strong. It seems some people just don't take notice of all the signs everywhere. Apart from that everything was more than acceptable.

Hotel is great with some english speaking staff.

Very comfortable rooms, spacious with plenty of amenities. Breakfast is very rich and diverse. Location very convenient and most importantly, you can easily find some employees who speak little english.

location is good, within walking distance to town

The location of this hotel is good within walking distance to town centre. But it was quite hot during my visit in late April and there is still no aircondictioning in the hotel. Electric fan is available on request but still far too hot for a comfortable sleep at night time. Also, there was an electric short circuit dring my stay and the whole hotel was in complete darkness for about few minutes. Besides, the TV receiving signal was poor as there was no signal coverage in one particular night for the whole night and also occassionally out of signal for other two nights during my 3 nights stay and I only watched TV when I went back to hotel at night time. So, I think the signal problem needs to improve.

I booked the Superior Single Room. It is situated at the end of a long corridor. The room is L-shaped which makes it even smaller. Even if you are travelling alone, book a room with double bed, which gives you more space. There are better hotels in the area which charges a similar rate.

Comfortable Room

The room was very comfortable with all the amenities ala a 5-star hotel, a Personal Computer was even provided in every room! Location wise actually need a fair bit of walking to the nearest MRT station. My friend and I had patronized the multi-award wining famous Beijing Roast Duck fine-dining restaurant called "Da Dong" situated inside the high-end "Jinboa Place" about 5-minute walking distance from the hotel.

Lyxig känsla

Ett jättebra hotell med gångavstånd till centrala Peking (Wangfujing Road, Himmelska Fridens Torg mm) beläget i ett lugnt affärskvarter. Rummet var suveränt och väldigt fräscht! Gigantisk säng som nog var det bekvämaste jag har sovit i. Badrummet var stort och hade en rymlig duschkabin, jättebra belysning för att vara ett badrum. Också det väldigt bra städat. TV med flera internationella kanaler. Dator på rummet men uppkopplingen var som den kan vara i Kina, ok men inte mer. Wi-fi i lobbyn var tyvärr inte alls bra, extremt svag signal så vi fick stå vid en vägg i ett hörn där det var skaplig signal. Synd för annars kändes det verkligen som ett lyxigt hotell. Väldigt trevlig personal. Rekommenderar detta hotell och skulle kunna tänka mig att boka det igen.

部屋は清潔で、ルームタイプは標準クラスのダブルベッドの部屋でしたが、娘と２人で泊まるには、十分の広さです。 ただ、最寄りの地下鉄の駅からは１５分位歩くので、もし手荷物が多いときは大変かもしれません。王府井まで歩けるですが、ちょっと遠いです。近くにGUCCIやBottega Veneta等のブランドショップがあります。 娘がプールに遊びに行きました。早朝で人がいなく、とても気持ちがいいそうです。

Bra, snabb service

Enda negativa var att rummet var alldeles för varmt (ac:n var trasig), men efter några samtal med diverse hotellpersonal, slutade det med att vi fick byta rum, vilket gjorde det hela till en positiv upplevelse. Möten på hotellet är onödigt dyr, poolområdet, gym var fräscht. Hotellets skick är (i kinesiska mått) riktigt bra.

I have booked 3 rooms n requested for same floor for all 3 rooms but only manage to have 2 rooms on the same floor only. Night duty Receptionist took abt 30mins to check in 3 rooms, n keep photocopying guest's passport n ask me for China visa copy whereby i do not required. If I need visa to travel to China n I do not have visa, I will not be able to enter into China n appear in front of the reception to do check-in. Air con is not working well as one of the rooms' air con break down n the other two room are not cool enough.

Très bon séjour... palace à la chinoise. Plutôt bien placé (5 min métro ligne 5 denshikou), 10 min à pieds wandfujing ... Belle piscine intérieure (25 mètres) sauna, jaccuzi, hamman ... Prendre les petits déjeuners ailleurs car bien trop chers. Anglais minimum et variable suivant les heures et les jours, inutile de poser des questions touristiques externes à l'hôtel !

A six-stars service hotel

This is an under-rated hotel. Besides being a little old, this hotel, XinHai JinJiang Hotel Wangfujing, should be rated as a 5-stars hotel. In particular, the service is excellent - six stars. From doorman, front desk, concierge, to room service, every staff members are very friendly and courteous. Whenever we have a question, the staff will go all the way to help resolve the questions we raised until we get a full and satisfactory answer. The location is excellent, in Wangfujing area. The facilities of the hotel is better than some of the 5-stars hotel. The price is good. Definitely it will be our first choice if we ever go to Beijing again. Most highly recommended.

Bra hotell nära sevärdheter. Det som var minus var att det var svårt att kommunicera med hotellpersonalen då deras engelskakunskaper var begränsade. Pga att man stänger av värmen i fastigheter i slutet vars var det mycket kallt i hotellets gemensamma utrymmen. Ex i frukostsalen.

Great location, limited English!

The hotel seems to cater primarily to the Asian population. This is good, if you don't mind that few people know enough English to even help you get a cab to a particular destination. Very limited concierge services for English speaking clients....in fact, sent us to a different hotel when we required assistance. The hotel asked for a 500$ CAD deposit upon arrival, which I am not used to, especially as we had paid for the hotel prior to arrival. Expect to spend considerable time checking out in order to get this money back! Breakfast costs about 23$ CAD per person (66$ for the 3 of us) ...which was/is alarming, but when we checked with other hotels in the area...this was actually a very good price!! Unfortunately the room does not have a fridge so you don't have a lot of choice for breakfast, unless you want to hunt down a restaurant for breakfast outside the hotel. To add to the irritation of price was the breakfast hostess who had a bit of an attitude issue, like she thought everyone was trying to cheat her out of payment...which was not all that ingratiating. Laundry cost us 216$ CAD for three people and 5 days of clothing! The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Wangfujing street, plus many restaurants and shopping, and a short cab ride to Tiannamen Sq, Forbidden city etc. The area has changed incredibly in the past 6 years, however...now looks more like an obscene New York Times Square than China.
