I will say that the location really surprised me! Where do you find such an affordable hostel nearby the tourist attraction (tiananmen and forbidden city)???! The toilets were cleaned often by the staffs and the bed was really nice and comfortable. One thing to note is that the door of the room is not soundproof and I got awoken a few times by the loud noises outside. Getting my breakfast was really easy as the walk to the main street have shops that sells breakfast (dumplings) and soymilk for just 15RMB. Overall, the stay at 365inn was pleasant. If you're thinking whether to book or not, trust me it's worth staying here :)

Solid stay
Great little hostel with a fun environment for travelers. The hostel itself is in the back of a hookah bar, which is good for drinks and conversation after a day exploring. Our room was very clean, with good WiFi and a solid shower area (though it gets a little wet when you do shower). Location itself is incredible, as it's right in the heart of the old section of Beijing and only a 15-minute walk from Tiananmen. Only real downside I can think of is the music at the bar, which can be a bit noisy if you happen to turn in early.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. I arrived late (3am) and it was a little difficult to find because it was dark and all the lights out front were off, but once I found it, I was able to check in swiftly and get some rest. Staff was friendly and spoke English very well. I was in a shared room with bunk beds. I was on the top bunk which had no outlets that reached up there and some of the outlets were not working in the room. The room itself was fine and typical hostel style (messy bunk mates). The restaurant and bar downstairs was great. I had ample WiFi and the location was close to everything I needed. They even booked my tour to the Great Wall and it was smooth and easy. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. Just plan on not having a place to charge your things if you’re on the top bunk.

Hostel in great location right in the city center of Beijing. Really nice bar and restaurant part of the hostel. Nice staff, beds are as nice a hostel will get. Foul smell of sewage but most of china smells that way. Bathroom could have been cleaner especially the walls. Mildew and slight mold on bathroom walls.

Great, clean hostel in the middle of it all!
The location of this hostel is perfect! Close to the main attractions and on a walking street with lots of local food and entertainment. Being in the hutongs makes you really get the feeling of local culture. The hostel is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. They made such a great effort to help us with everything, the service was fantastic.

Good Location
Location is really good. Right at the south of TianAnMen Square, and close to the 'QianMen' metro/subway station. Staff can be friendlier. I waited for my turn before asking the staff at the counter for places to go, however when there were tourists who came for check-in. Staff did not excuse himself but served the tourists to settle payment. Is collecting money much more important than other services? Moreover, i waited 15mins for a bunch of other tourists to complete their check-in procedures. Apparently they rather collect money from checkin/ tours than answer other queries. Stayed in a room with a queen size bed, and a small TV. Had a private toilet. Not much space to put 2 large luggages, but 1 is good. Cleanliness is pleasant. Will stay again for the location. If staff can provide better service, the entire stay will be fantastic.

I found 365Inn after a bit of confusion. That is when the fun began. I wasn't carrying my passport because I had just submitted it to the Russian Embassy to get a visa for that country. Unfortunately I didn't copy all the pages of the passport - mostly concerned about the Chinese visa dates The result was that I wasn't allowed to stay at 365INN... I have tried (at the suggestion of 365Inn) my reservation with Orbitz, but as seems usual - Orbitz makes it difficult to submit a cancellation while in China.

This was my first time in a hostel and I loved it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean and easy to find. The front is a bar so there is lots of opportunities to meet other travelers. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend!

4 nights in a private room.
It's located in a great little area of town lots of shops and restaurants, along with bus and subway stations. The location is perfect for anyone trying to see Beijing. The staff was super helpful. We had a private room with clean beds and a shared bathroom just around the corner but that wasn't a problem for us, so rooms do have a private bathroom. The bar/restaurant area is clean and fun to hang out in. I would definitely recommend this to anyone look for a hostel in Beijing.

Location and staff are awesome
A place so nice we booked it twice, seriously nice staff and awesome location to get to know Beijing. 10 minute walk to the Forbidden City and tons...and I mean tons to explore and see in every direction. Bruce and Robin were super nice and helpful guys and I'm sure the rest of the staff are just as friendly. The food smelled great (didn't try it though) as we walked through to our room and it was quiet at night even more so than many more expensive hotels we've stayed at. We look forward to going back in a few weeks. Ps. You can easily get there from the subway station.

365 is Chill 365
This hostel is probably the best one in the area as many people who weren't even staying here dropped by to hang out. There is a bar and decent food served all day and I nice common area that makes it easy to meet people.. Sitting out front is great for people-watching and people watching you since the Chinese are always so curious about us strange Westerners :) I stayed in a private room the first two nights which at 50 usd per night I think is overpriced. I moved to a dorm which was pretty comfortable for the remaining two nights though that's also due to the fact only 2 of the four beds were occupied and I didn't spend much time there. It's close to Forbidden City and Tiannemen Square and the 2 line of the train which can get you anywhere fairly quick. No nightlife in the area but a good launch pad and chill hostel with very friendly staff and good service :)

Lovely place, worth the stay!
365 has a great ambiance. A bar at the front and the hostel to the back, you hear noise from either the drinking people or the streets around. The staff is great, super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it for small young groups or solo travellers. The dorms are clean and you are welcome to leave a message on its walls! The area is quite lively, with shops, cafes and restaurants.

I stayed 3 nights. Location was good, cleanliness was good, helpful and friendly staff, but the bed was uncomfortable. I booked a tour to the Great Wall, but the tour group forgot to pick me up (no fault by anyone at the hostel) so I ended up going the next day instead. It wasn't a big deal for me, but I can see that it could be a problem for others. I would stay there again.

Top location with terrible smell and ripoff tour
We decided to stay at this hotel because of the good reviews online. Also, it had a good central location and the rate was reasonable. Unfortunately, there were two main issues that were totally unacceptable and would prevent us from ever staying there again. Firstly, there was a terrible continuous odour resulting from the poor drainage in the bathroom/toilet. The smell actually caused us headaches and vomiting. There was no effort made to adequately correct this although they told us they would fix it. Secondary, the hotel sold us tickets to a tour to the Great Wall of China for a rate higher than other foreigners on the same tour paid. Chinese residents paid substantially less for the tour. We bought the cable car tickets at the ticket office GWOC location ourselves to lift us up to the GWOC. These tickets were not included in our tour package. Believe it or not, when the tour guide was not able to get us to buy the cable car tickets from him, he said that the tour bus fare was not included and we would have to pay extra for this. He said that the cost of the cable car was included in the tour fee but the bus ride to and from the GWOC location was not. He used insulting language and thought that being older foreigners we would fall for this. We refused to pay extra and went back on the bus. We hold the hotel responsible for being involved in this tour and selling tickets for it to us.

Nice place to stay in Beijing.
Awsome location close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden Palace. Lots of restaurants near by, good bar downstairs. Only negative is not enough plug ins in the room for charging stuff.
