"Clean room, "

"Breakfast was not good. Only 2 pieces of bacon left and 1 hash brown. Also was never told they charge you an extra £20 for checking in before 3pm. Luckily the receptionist did have a room ready so gave it to me without charging. This is something to look out for."

"The only problem was that my wife and I are in our Seventies year young, and during the cold spell early March, the room heater did not come on until 18.00pm. We were cold . We did not complain to reception because we know that the heating was timed set to come on."

"Hotel plumbing is temperamental and carpets are very tired. Very comfy bed and room has everything you need."

"A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid."

"Booked a superior room for a visiting business manager Mon-Fri On Weds I was told that his room hadn't been cleaned since he arrived. Shower had to run for upto 10mins before any hot water came through"

"Great easy hotel Perf for Alton towers has a really nice pub opposite it which did a carvery has petrol station and a breakfast and Asian cafe also great room was fine no hair dryer tho and small shower not in a bathroom and toilet was in a cupboard "

"Stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday. The place is so nice. Lovely staff. Very attentive there is a bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, rooms all greatly decorated. Food very great. Would definitely stay here again"

"Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5)."

"Spent a fantastic night here this past weekend, from the moment we checked in all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming (we were even wished a good morning by the housekeeping staff we passed in the corridor as we were leaving!), the food and service in the restaurant were also both good and breakfast in the morning offered a great selection of choices. The two rooms we had were both clean and well presented (and close together a we had requested at the time of booking). Super...

"Take your reading glasses. There’s no room key, just a long line of numbers written on a piece of paper for you to type into the keypad on your room door. The room was basic but clean and a decent size, the shower was hot (the shampoo is quite harsh) and breakfast was surprisingly good. Ask the staff if you need gluten free bread."
