"I was originally a little concerned after seeing some bad reviews, however, I had nothing but a great experience at the Arcadian Hotel. We stayed at the Arcadian for our trip to Fenway Park. It was in a great location. Fenway Park was about a mile (20 minute) walk from the hotel. The T line was right across the street, which could take you to Fenway, but also anywhere else in the city. "Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"The room was well-designed, efficient use of space with all amenities. I especially liked the fact that everything could be controlled with the Ipad. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to shops at Newbury street and with the T right next door. "The location is great, very close to all the nice shops on Exeter street, just across from the Boston Public Library. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Be aware the hotel is an older property and they have chosen to maintain the same esthetic, so it has that old school hotel vibe. "This was an interesting hotel and if you have any experience of the raffles brand elsewhere then I would recommend be prepared. The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. A butler system which I must say working off some mediocre phone prompts just doesn’t cut it .
