"Everything was good accept for the breakfast. I was there at 8:30 a.m. and they were out of most things. "

"The hotel is a little run down. The elevator was questionable as the door was sluggish to open. We took the stairs. It seemed like there were a lot of people staying there, so it was busy and noisy. Doors slamming late at night. It was good for the price. "

"Very nice location; close to 64, the Martha Jefferson Hospital, and not too far from Downtown Charlottesville. There's a nice walking path with a couple of ponds right by; great for a stroll. They have a small pool and a decent sized hot-tub. I ate and drank at the bar the first night; the Bartender was very kind and the food was good. The bed was really comfortable, so sleeping was easy. The blackout curtains worked really nicely. Will definitely stay there again next time I need to be...

"The staff were friendly and very attentive, and there was a complimentary breakfast that was well-stocked and easy. The beds were comfortable. We didn't seem to have control of our room temperature, so not sure whether our thermostat was broken or whether there were building-wide set points. "

"Stayed 4 nights, housekeeping never entered the room. Had to buy our own toilet tissue. Towels were damp and musty by checkout. No lighting in the rear parking lot. Many transient construction workers hanging in the parking lot drinking beer. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Probably will not stay again."

"Hotel was not what i expected. Construction workers, many of them staying there. Very loud outside, drinking beer and hanging outside the rooms. Eventually, they quieted down around 930pm. Parking lot very full with big trucks, parked far away from my room and walked with luggage up narrow stairwell. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I was afraid of Friday night party given my experience with Thursday night. Breakfast was carb only, no variety and im diabetic. Not diabetic friendly. Do...

"Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely place and good people."

"This hotel was under major renovation. There was a strong construction smell, even in the room. I was not sure if a ventilation fan was working in the bathroom. The breakfast area was a temporary space, previously a conference room. The tables and chairs were somethings you would see in a one star hotel. Not happy to pay $210 per night for a hotel under renovation. I would never come back to this hotel."
