Beaugency Hotels with Restaurants

"A very beautiful and clearly old hotel set in an amazing medieval village. Hotel was very basic with lots of character. Some aspects need updating. Very dark bathroom decor and some squashed insects on the walls. Parking almost impossible near hotel but available a short walk away on the main road. "

"Loved this hotel….. the room (water view) was huge, big bathroom well appointed. The building is really quite something. Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. I will go back if I can…"

"Room tiny, toilet tiny, separate shower room tiny. Compact and bijou is a gross understatement. Restaurant and food (at least what was available) distinctly average - not at all the standard I expected from a French eating establishment and over-priced (but then again this is France). To round things off, it was a Monday night and most of Beaugency was closed and streets deserted."
