"The Camas Hotel was a pleasant one night stay in a sweet little town. The room was small as befits this old historic building but there was a nice atrium just down the hall. Breakfast was provided down the street at a little diner. So enjoyable!! "

"Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!"

"Super cute; convenient location to the beach, Haystack Rock and main shopping; clean and well-equipped. Suggestions would be 1) swap out bathroom toilet brush often as the bad odor was in conflict with the refreshed appearance, 2) remove the foam topper (made the bed uncomfortably smudgy for sleep), 3) add electronic locks to both doors, 4) upgrade LR side chairs — though cute, tiny and uncomfortable to sit in. All in all — I would definitely stay here again! "
