"Wir hatten eine Suite mit Privatpool. Das Hotel liegt abseits von der Innenstadt, die man jedoch mit dem Bus im halben stündigen Abstand gut erreichen kann. "This hotel is beyond gorgeous, relaxing, and goes above and beyond! Everyone is so friendly and will help you with anything you need. "The serene and attentive experience at Amira practically guarantees my return. While the ambiance initially suggests a demographic of romantic couples, I visited for a getaway with my teenage daughter, and the execution was flawless. Their attention to detail is remarkable—from the intelligently designed suites to the highly proactive staff. The widespread buffet breakfast is a notable standout, offering extensive, flavorful choices alongside a custom egg station. The beach proximity, despite the rocky terrain, provides spectacular sunrises and sunsets, while the pool remains pristine. A genuinely outstanding stay!"

"The hotel was great especially for families with young children. The creche & kids club facilities are really a highlight the best I’ve seen! The staff were all so friendly & helpful. The water park is also a highlight and great for young children with very shallow pools. Food variety & quality was really good & good cocktails at the various bars. Our family room was a good set up for a family of 3 giving our toddler his own room. Overall would definitely recommend to families with young children!"

"Beautiful, clean spacious hotel, if you're looking for quality food high end restaurant and fine dining this is the best choice hotel, set in a great location, right on the beach, choice of villas and apartments with private pool, or room with a swim up pool, or just room without pool. Staff are brilliant, speak excellent English, such wonderful helpful staff, first time to Crete and would definitely return to this Crete and this hotel. Grecotel has its own farm which is included in the package, great trip to see how they produce local olive oil, honey, they provide you with many courses during the visit with delicious food and wine. The beds in the hotel and pillows are so comfortable, the rooms are spotless and room service every day, you have a fridge in your room which is replenished every day with soft drinks, tea and coffee facilities, beach towel and bath towels changed daily. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. The drinks available are branded and good quality, staff behind the bar are efficient as are the staff around the pool, offering you drinks and snacks when required. Young children's pool and activities which is all shaded, 2 main pools with plenty of shade and sunbeds, some in the water which is a lovely treat. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful, they want to please. Gym and sauna available onsite which looked modern, nice shop onsite The main dining room which is self serve had choice and great quality. Perfect All inclusive"

"The hotel is clean, had great vibe and interior design. Amenities include a small gym with good equipment and a yoga studio. Good was fantastic, great section for meat and non-meat eaters. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and good service. Good selection of pools, just have to be up early for main pool ‘best’ beds, with canopies. Can’t fault the hotel but was disappointed with the reception service. We went for our honeymoon and pre-told the hotel. We weren’t given an upgrade like many couple we spoke to and like many reviews show. We actually were given a different room for the 1st night because our original room was broken. Meaning we had to move room the following morning and couldn’t unpack and relax the night of arrival. The room was bigger and reception made it sound like they were giving a complimentary upgrade (for 12 hours), though it was only because they had to and it actually gave us more inconvenience. As a ‘sorry’ we got given the same fruit platter and sparkling that we would have got anyway as it was our honeymoon. After that bad start the rest of the stay was lovely. "
