"We spent our mini honeymoon at Pennys motel we are blown away by how perfect everything was! Check in was smooth the bar was amazing the cocktails were delicious and the oysters were perfect the staff were so kind and helpful. "We found bed bugs in room 225 in both beds and silver fish under the covers and we had to vacate the room at midnight and drive 2hrs home because there were no other rooms available in the area. Though unapologetic, the staff did offer a full refund."

"This place is good value for money. Loved having a kitchen and the TV/fireplace area is lovely. It could use some TLC (peeling paint, old grout, etc). It was cozy and warm, great location. The only downside was the mattress on the bed. It was very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. I ended up sleeping on the sofabed on the third night, which was a bit better but also not great. Would definitely return if the mattress was upgraded."
