"The deposit upon check in is 500 dollars, which is fine because it’s returned but I feel this should be noted. Property charges 35 dollars per day mandatory, but they do allow you to use it in the cafe which I guess is nice. You’re basically forced to spend money there daily. The hotel is beautiful and clean, rooms are a great size for New York, beds are very comfy, and the bathrooms are stunning. Our mini fridge was broken and our curtains did not close all the way allowing a room full of light from Times Square the first night. They did fix these issues and gave us a room credit for the inconvenience. Most of the staff members were courteous and helpful. The noise from Times Square if you are on the lower floors is definitely noticeable, we slept fine but if you are a light sleeper I would def suggest getting a higher floor. Overall it is a beautiful hotel and great view, area, and size for the price point. "

"Our room was clean, Staff not very welcoming from the day we checked in. I also find it very weird for a hotel room to not have a simple coffee maker or even wine glasses. When my husband went to ask for wine glasses at the front desk, they told him the hotel doesn't provide those and he can check if the bar can give him glasses. Uhh the bar gave him plastic disposable cups to use. Plus never had a hotel charge $600 as a holding that's insane."

"The room is a little older some chipped paint but shower was good pressure beds and pillows comfortable, room had enough space. No issue with elevator at all and we were on 47th floor. Other than that its a great location the subway is steps away and had no noise at night. "

"Great price, middle of the action! Very noisy outside with horns, fire trucks, general New York action. I had trouble sleeping. The room was cozy, but not designed well. The bed frame had sharp corners that I have bruises on my knees from, and the wash cloth dropped into the toilet twice. I was surprised there was no central coffee, hot water for tea or microwave in the lobby, but when I asked, they brought an electric kettle to the room which was great."

"The hotel is located very conveniently to plenty of things. It is clean and well run. Had some issues with the shower turning on and draining, but otherwise the room was satisfactory too!"

"The staff was great! The parking was cheaper than any other hotel in the area. The valet was actually cheaper than other self-parks in the area. Room was ok! Not amazing, but fine for a night in the city. Clean, just needs some TLC. Lobby was beautiful. We have a daughter, It was so nice to get gelato/Starbucks (both right next door) and eat it in the warm pretty lobby. The restaurant upstairs was really good and reasonably price for NY. Nice to cut through Central Park and walk right up to Time Square. Even though we book through Expedia, there was still a $22 charge for the hotel and the valet was $81. I would definitely come back. "
