"This was a wonderful hotel right in the center of Bayeux. The perfect location for visiting the town. It has a fabulous breakfast bar and is located near many high quality restaurants for lunch and dinner. Fun shopping the downtown streets. The street market on Saturday was great fun, too. The staff at the Churchill was over the top in a good way!!! Stay there. You won’t regret it. "

"Spacious room with working air conditioning, clean and updated bathroom, looks like the hotel has been recently upgraded. The location is perfect, adjacent to the Cathedral, walking distance to all the shops, museums and restaurants. Breakfast was complimentary and it offered large varieties of food. "

"My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. Many thanks to the Hotel de la Marine! Merci beaucoup!"
