"We absolutely loved this resort. It’s a beautiful property. Service was fantastic down at the beach club our server Jack took great care of us with a smile everyday. Bar service at Azul was amazing. Omg, The chef made incredible food(get the shrimp aioli pasta). Bartender crafted delicious drinks & specialty shots & the server was attentive and friendly throughout our whole stay. Cleaning ladies did amazing job attending our room when we asked. Even the grounds keeper was out there every morning making sure to keep the greenery here beautiful. I contacted them ahead of time to schedule my shuttle picked up at airport and they were on time. Breakfast was fresh made to order and was delicious. You can even enjoy complimentary paddle boarding and kayaking. I brought my own snorkel and snorkeled off the boat deck and loved it. If you want to go out at night, just ask the server for a water taxis WhatsApp information & you can be in West Bay in no time. "

"Everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff and manager, Angel, made us feel incredibly welcome. It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. What makes La Placita unique is its charming shopping center filled with local restaurants — and we had the chance to try them all! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special and the tacos Catrachos — both were unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A big bonus included with our stay was free breakfast, which was such a great way to start each day. La Placita has a wonderful reputation for making sure guests are enjoying their time, and most importantly, we felt safe from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back — next time with friends and family! A special shoutout to Andy — our amazing tour guide throughout the entire trip. He took us all over the island, showing us everything from local hotspots to cultural gems like the chocolate factory. He’s down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and made sure we always felt safe and comfortable. Having him as our guide was a major highlight of the trip and another reason why La Placita stands out.
