"I was put right at the top. It might have been nice to be in a lower room as I had a lot of bags. No one answered the telephone. The room was a bit tired and worn, not worthy of the price paid. It felt more like an elderly bnb than a boutique hotel. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "

Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. "Didn't have breakfast unfortunately as some confusion over booking Single Rooms spacious and decorated well, bed comfortable, earplugs provided and needed as a fairly light sleeper the traffic noise was continuous all night Guest living room and bar full of charm and character and bar well stocked at reasonable prices"

"Basic and easy for last minute stay as our train back to London was too late. Very basic but clean. Warning that windows don’t open. We paid “extra for window” that doesn’t even open. "

"Friendly staff, great location if travelling with luggage as hotel is directly across from train station and easy walk to Bath ruins and amazing Therma Spa. Amenities and dining all around. Accommodations were great! Great space comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Neat and clean. Great character in building. Amazing breakfast included as well. "

"Reception staff initially a little frosty as we arrived ahead of check in time because we were going to an event. However once we explained that we didn’t expect our room to be ready and that we just wanted to leave our bags they were much friendlier and then went out of their way to find a room that had already been cleaned so that we could go straight to the room "
