We visit annually McDonalds Spa in Bath for a 3-4 day stay for the past 5 years and has always been amazing. This time was very different, my daughter went for a shower at 10 pm but there was no hot water, no phone in the room, so used mobile to call reception, tried 3 times no answer. Hot water was fixed next day. Both twin beds needed to be remade due to the insert being only a single in a double cover and was all on one side that was tucked under the bed, again tried to call reception no answer. Housekeeping was lacking due bed issue and non replacement of tea & sugar and not taking away dirty dishes of general wiping done of areas. There seemed less staff and spa staff are contracted rather than employed by the hotel. Spa experience was no as special as usual. My daughter had reaction on her skin after advising that she has sensitive skin, but uses the Rose Elemis products these were not used.
