It has the right amount of luxury and the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The rooms do vary but we have begun to become familiar with some of the rooms. They have a very good breakfast with some continental items but you may also order from the à la carte menu. We chose not to include breakfast this time only because we eat too much when we do!...

"Pros: Great location, picturesque river view, nice large outdoor patio, cosy bar restaurant area, good breakfast, friendly staff. Cons: Room requires a thorough cleaning, very dusty with a musty smell, carpet should be cleaned or removed. Given the price paid the room was uncomfortable and disappointing. "

"Very quaint hotel that was perfect for our overnight stay in Oxford. We even looked into trying to stay another night but all the rooms were booked! :) There is a very nice green space that we used to relax and read. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Room was quirky, clean and had good amenities (perhaps only missing an iron?) with a particularly good shower and comfortable bed. The location is great, not in centre but a nice walk with plenty of cafe’s, restaurants and bars nearby. Only downside’s We stopped on a Friday and Saturday night and it was noisy from the bar/karaoke downstairs till circa 1am, (we had fun guessing what the song was) however they do warn you when booking and provide ear plugs. Also the stairs are quite steep but...

"Step into Room 18 , although signed , is a bit precarious if you are unsteady on your feet . Light switch to bathroom kept falling off . Breakfast , although nice , is overpriced . Location is very convenient for city Centre . "

"There was a lack of communication on how to access the property. We had to call to get the instructions from the number that was on the door and they didn’t seem aware that we had even booked. We’ve finished our stay and there is still no response to our messages. Wi-Fi wasn’t working. The cleanliness could be improved (moldy food left in the fridge and cobwebs). On a positive note, it was in a great location in town. However, it is important to be aware that overnight parking is expensive in...
