"Very comfortable bed, clean room We stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, we did not notice the sign in reception that you need to ask for a room refresh (before noon) We needed clean cups, glasses, tbags, but we asked in the pub on the second day and all were provided. The only downside is there isn’t really anywhere in the bathroom to dry towel on a two night stay, so maybe best to ask for refresh Excellent value for money"

"We stayed for one night and the hotel reception staff were so helpful, they really made our stay so easy. The room was lovely and the provision of a fan in the heat this weekend was much appreciated! We will definitely be back. Also, the layout and the way the property is maintained is gorgeous, such lovely plants made it feel really cared for and seeing the Peregrines nesting on the church opposite was the icing on the cake!"

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed with ensuite facilities, coffee machine with small fridge and milk as well as bottled water. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast had many options. "Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended."

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very tired and needs some changing and upgrades and the bathroom was not clean with ingrained grubbiness. At breakfast, there was a coffee machine with no facilities for decaffeinated coffee. Just sachets of decaffeinated. Otherwise breakfast was good."
