"The spa area was great and fantastic and the staff was very helpfull but the hotel staff was not as friendly even when it was not busy. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working and when I asked for ice at the bar I was told that ice machine was broken for a long time."

"I was visiting family and this hotel was only 5 minutes away from the village they lived in. It was nice and quiet and i would say is more for people passing through. Not really for families with small children, however ideal for when on the road with a lot of travel to do as a pit stop Staff friendly and hotel clean."

"Nice hotel. Spa is good unfortunately the pool was very cold and steamroom broken. Rooms were okay but need a referb, especially the bathrooms. Water stations along the corridor with still and sparkaling water was a nice touch, would be good if they came out ice cold rather than tap temperature. Plenty of parking on our stay. Breakfast was as you expect. Overall, for the price a good stay."

"The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Odd as the room had been cleaned. The reception staff immediately gave us a better room. I also found it a little weird that the hallways were so dim (?). The wall sconces were on but didn’t throw much light. "

"What a lovely clean lodge, and my grandson was kept occupied with the man play areas and Lego stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning 💖"
