"Expected more from Holiday Inn. Hotel is very tired looking and needs a re-furb not just pretty paintings on the wall. There is a parking charge of £12 which I think is ridiculous-there is nowhere else to park your car so you have no choice. I expect it for City parking but this is Basildon!!! I ..."

We were there on the hottest week of the year and unfortunately no air con in rooms. Only fan which helped a bit. Too hot to leave window open. Therefore uncomfortable nights sleeping. ..."
