"We had a great experience staying at the Schweitzerhof Basel! We found breakfast to be quite good , the staff extremely helpful and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. It is just a few yards from the central train station, which was very convenient, as we arrived by train and its quite well located to walking around the alt stadt. "

"We loved our stay at the Passage. It was very clean, well organized and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. While the suite didn't have a separate room, it was nice how far away the sofa bed was from the actual bedroom and, with a sound machine, we were able to feel like we had two separate spaces. The bathrooms are very nice, but there were a couple quirky things 1. This would *not* be a suitable option for friends or multiple couples that like privacy. There is only a clear glass door for the shower room and it never fogs over so everyone who walks by has a clear view of the person bathing. 2. The toilet is in a separate room from the tub, sink and shower, so you have to go into a separate room to wash your hands Overall, though, we would return to the Passage in a heartbeat--just a few small things that might have been nice to know in advance :)"
