Hotel Schweizerhof Basel
Very good sized room, very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Staff very friendly. Hotel a little dated and no mini fridge. Wifi connectivity intermittent also. Overall would recommend as a great choice for a hotel in Basel close to the train station. Would stay here again.

Hotel Victoria
Very convenient to train station. Our stay included a Basel Transit Pass which made it very easy to connect by tram to the Viking dock. If you are staying overnight and arrive or depart by train its a great location.

A Really convenient location, directly opposite a tram stop for access in to Basel, but it is only a 10min downhill walk to the city centre, so used more for the return to the hotel.
